Cash Hunt is where the record comes from. Evolution reports a 25,000x Cash Hunt result from December 2022, above the 20,000x ceiling of the Crazy Time bonus. Its 108 hidden multipliers are multiplied by any Top Slot boost, so a flat "20,000x maximum" line, which you see on a lot of pages, is not quite right.
The limit that really decides your ceiling is the round cap. Evolution's rules limit the total payout for one round, and each casino sets that figure in its bet limit table. At National Casino it sits at the table, in the panel with the minimum and maximum bet.

Chance is the share of the 54 segments on any single spin. There is a neat detail hidden in the 1 spot. It wins 21 times in 54 and pays 1 to 1 plus your stake, which on its own returns only about 77.8%. The rest of its 96.08% comes from the Top Slot, which now and then multiplies a winning 1. The same goes for 2, 5 and 10.
Volatility is the part that changes most between spots. Betting on 1 feels calm: you win often and lose small. The bonus spots are the opposite. The Crazy Time bonus lands about once in 54 spins, so you can go a long stretch without it, and when it comes the result can be anything from a modest multiplier to a life-changing one. Real bonus rounds swing harder than this model. A session counts as busted once the balance drops below one stake.

Crazy Time bonus games and the Top Slot
This is where the show earns its name. Each bonus has its own set and its own rules, and you only play it if you had a chip on that spot when the wheel stopped.

Nine bonus segments out of 54 is where Evolution's "1 in 6" comes from. A Top Slot multiplier that lands on Coin Flip or Cash Hunt carries into the bonus and multiplies the coin sides or the whole Cash Hunt board, which is how those games reach their biggest results.
